Many of us care for, or regularly check in on, a loved one that has a higher risk for a medical emergency. Be it an elderly parent or a chronically ill child, we all want the peace of mind that they’ll be well taken care of if something happens while we’re away. When responding to emergencies, paramedics often don’t know the person they are treating. This can be problematic when the person they’re treating is unconscious or unable to speak, as they must try and figure out the person’s medical history as well as the medication they are taking. The more information the paramedics have about the patient, the better chance the patient has of surviving. That’s where the Patrol Safety app comes in. This app allows users to list their medications and medical history so that emergency responders can scan their QR code and get immediate access to their medical history and current medications list it in the event that they can’t provide it themselves.
